Antivirus and malware protection

Telia Safe protects your devices and those of your loved ones from viruses and malware by blocking websites that are trying to scam you out of money or data. The app is based on the award-winning F-Secure TOTAL product from F-Secure, the world’s leading security software provider.

Secure Internet access (VPN)

Using a VPN, you can also shop, bank and surf the web safely and securely on public Wi-Fi networks. Telia Safe ensures cyber security both when using web browsers and apps.

How to join

Order the service
Choose the plan that suits you and Order the service. You can try the service for free for the first month.
Load the app
You will receive an e-mail from Telia confirming your subscription and an email from F-Secure with your username and password. You can now download Telia Safe.
Activate
Log in to the downloaded Telia Safe app with the user data you received from F-Secure and your device is protected.
Manage
In the Telia Safe management environment you can add or remove devices from the service and conveniently manage family rules. Management is also possible directly from the Safe app.

Good to know

The service is available to clients of all operators in Estonia and there is no need to transfer your mobile number to Telia to join.

All the new Telia Safe plans include a VPN feature, making your Internet surfing anonymous and even safer. In addition, parents will be able to manage their children’s Internet usage rules and restrictions directly from their smart devices. We have also updated the look and feel of the mobile app and improved the user experience. Users of the Safe Premium plan will receive a new application called Telia ID-Protection, which secures personal information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details for the whole family and provides immediate instructions in the event of a threat.

After you have subscribed to the service in the online environment of Telia, you will receive confirmation on subscription and a separate letter from F-Secure that contains the user data for you account and instructions for using the service. Click on the install link and start downloading the app. When you install the service on your device, enter the username and password sent to you by F-Secure.

Log in to Telia self-service and click on the “View plans” link. You will then be presented with a selection of plans from among which you can choose the one that suits you best.

You can cancel the service at any time from Telia self-service.

A VPN, or virtual private network, encrypts your Internet connection. A VPN creates a virtual tunnel from your device to the VPN service provider’s network with all Internet traffic from your device going through the tunnel to the VPN server, and then to the website or Internet service you want to connect to. With a VPN, you hide your real IP address and give the impression that your web traffic is coming from your VPN provider’s network. This gives you extra security by ensuring your privacy wherever you go, even on public Wi-Fi networks.
