20.01 - Head of Telia Estonia Holger Haljand Appointed as Head of Telia Finland

Telia Company has announced changes to the leadership of its group companies, effective February 1, 2025. Holger Haljand, the current Head of Telia Estonia, will take over as the head of Telia Finland, while the role of Telia Estonia CEO will be assumed by the company’s current Chief Technology Officer, Andre Visse.

From February 1, Holger Haljand will continue as a member of the group’s executive management team while also serving as the CEO of Telia Finland. Meanwhile, the current Head of Telia Finland, Heli Partanen, will step down to pursue career opportunities outside the company.

Telia Company President and CEO Patrik Hofbauer commented on the leadership changes: “Holger’s strong business acumen, customer-focused approach, and proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive growth make him the ideal leader for the Telia Finland team. This is a market where we see significant opportunities to strengthen our position.”

A recruitment process for a new Head of Telia Estonia has started and Andre Visse, CTO of Telia Estonia, will be acting Head of Telia Estonia during this period.
